A spool, a cylinder
Is round
Upon which winding
Threads are found
And if someone
Inclined to sew
Who has the thread
And has the know
Should take a look
And take a notion
We will see
Their sewing motion
Making something
Whole, or new
A very useful
Thing to do
And so creative
As we see
Some mended, and
Some yet to be.
Blue Marble Jar
This empty jar had an unusual appeal, and is the second one I've filled with glass pieces as a thing of beauty.
Icicles
Winter icicles hung from a possible cave entrance that trickles water year round.
Butterfly on the Lilacs
The lilacs came from the store complete with free bonus butterflies!
Creek Rock Wall
Water trickles from the top of a four foot wall of rock alongside the creek bed.
Wild Violets
They speak for themselves.
Odd Storm Cloud
It built up menacingly over the lake, but then moved on without a sound.
A Friendly Turtle
He makes enough noise to be an animal four times his size as he plods through the brush and leaves.
Fossils
I found these on various nature hikes. I have identified them (hopefully correctly) as a petrified walnut, hickory nut, bird's egg, mushroom button, and snail.

This was found not too far from where the fossils were found.
